Ref. 4134 ?Pink Gold Chronometer? Rolex ?Perpetual, Officially Certified Chronometer?, Ref. 4134. Case No. 461069. Made in 1946. Fine and very rare, oversized, self-winding, 18K pink gold gentleman?s wristwatch with pink gold-plated Rolex buckle.

C. Two-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, snap on domed back. D. Silvered with applied gold baton indexes and Roman quarters, subsidiary seconds. Pink gold "baton" hands. M. Cal. 9 3/4''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 37 mm. Thickness 11 mm.

Reference 4134 was produced in limited numbers from 1942 to 1947 and is one of the very few self-winding Rolex watches with snap-on back. The caliber 620 was created in 1936 and was in regular production between 1940 and 1951. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, p 61.
