Notes

The reference, like the Vacheron Constantin of the same name, is called ?Cioccolatone? by collectors due to its resemblance to a large chunk of chocolate. The watch was produced from 1946 through 1952 and was available in 18K gold, 10K gold and stainless steel, and was advertised in the famous ?Piccola Guida Gastronomica d?Italia? . The caliber 620 was created in 1936 and was in regular production between 1940 and 1951. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, p. 65.
