Ref. 6422 ?Precision? Rolex, "Oyster Precision", Ref. 6422. Case No.272289. Made in 1957. Fine and rare, center seconds, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with expanding stainless steel Oyster bracelet.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, polished bezel. D. Beige with ?flinque? quadrant decoration, applied steel dart and Arabic hours, outer minute/second divisions. Luminous steel ?Alpha? hands. M. Cal. 1210, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 10.7 mm.

In the 1958 Rolex catalogue this reference was available in stainless steel, 9K gold and 14K gold, all with polished bezel and ?Flush-fit? bracelet. The calibre 1210 was made between 1954 and 1967.
