Ref 3358 Stainless Steel and Pink Gold ?Chronometre? Rolex, "Oyster, Chronomètre", Ref. 3358. Case No. 51419. Made in 1942. Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, waterresistant stainless steel and pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with a gold-plated Rolex buckle.

Matte pink with sunken dot indexes, printed Roman quarters, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel ?baton? hands. M. Cal. 700, 10 1/2''' rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Superbalance timed to 6 positions, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 30 mm. Thickness 11 mm.

Reference 3358 and 3359 are identical with the exception of the seconds display, the 3358 with subsidiary seconds and 3359 with center seconds.
