Notes

This watch is an extremely early example of an ?Oyster Perpetual?, the case bears no reference number and the movement is engraved with instructions informing watchmakers how to correctly disassemble the movement. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, p. 133.
