Ref. 6202 Stainless Steel ?Turn-O-Graph? Rolex, ?Turn-O-Graph, Oyster Perpetual, Officially Certified Chronometer?, Ref. 6202. Case No 950382. Made in 1953. Fine and very rare, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, tonneau-shaped, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, with bi-directional revolving black bezel, and a stainless steel Rolex deployant clasp.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, black graduated revolving bezel with arrow showing the zero point. D. Black with triangular, round and bâton luminous indexes, outer minute/seconds track. Luminous steel "Baton" hands. M. Cal. 620, rhodium-plated, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Superbalance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 13 mm.

Ref. 6202. Was the first watch in the so-called professional line. This watch is characterized by its revolving bezel, which allows the watch to be used as a chronograph for timing events with a duration of less than one hour. The watch was also available in stainless steel and gold. The model cost 58,800 Lire in stainless steel, and 62,000 Lire with a stainless steel bracelet. The stainless steel and gold model cost 76,000 Lire and with bracelet 94,500 Lire. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, p. 285.
