Notes

This reference was produced in 1946 only, in stainless steel as well as 14K and 18K yellow and pink gold , and can therefore be considered one of the rarest production references by Rolex for its Oyster chronographs. The rarity of the present watch is enhanced by its dial bearing the retailer?s signature. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, pp. 426,427
