Notes

Daytona watches with this type of color-change dial are called ?The Patrizzi? by collectors, as Osvaldo Patrizzi was the first person to see and describe this type of change to the chapter rings of the subsidiary dials. The fact that this watch still retains its original sticker on the case back is a further testament to the overall excellent original condition of the piece. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, p. 465.
