Ref. 1680, "Navy Blue Dial" Rolex, ?Oyster Perpetual Date, Submariner, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified?, Ref. 1680. Case No. 3309767. Made in 1973. Very fine and rare, self-winding, waterresistant, center-seconds, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold "Fliplock" Oyster bracelet. Accompanied by a Rolex box.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, blue graduated bi-directional revolving bezel for the decompression times, "Triplock" winding-crown protected by the "Crown Guard". D. Navy blue with luminous round, triangular and bâton indexes, aperture for the date, crystal with ?Cyclops? lens. Luminous "Skeleton" hands. M. Cal. 1570, rhodium plated, 26 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
