Notes

The ?Oyster Date?, reference 1530, is particularly rare and does not appear in any of the major Rolex catalogues at the time which indicates that it was made in limited number as a test piece or for a specific market. The case is identical to that of the ?Oyster Quartz Datejust? 17000 reference series and shares the same bracelet. This watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, pp. 222-223.
