Ref. 2508 ?Antimagnetic? Rolex, ?Antimagnetic?, Ref. 2508. Case No. 47969. Made in 1939. Very fine and rare, large, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and 18K pink gold Rolex buckle.

C. Three -body, satiné, polished flat bezel, concave lugs. D. Matte silver with applied gilt indexes and Arabic half-hour numerals, inner minute/seconds divisions with Arabic five minute/seconds, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer tachometer and telemeter graduations. Pink gold ?baton? hands. M. 13???, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balancespring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 12 mm.

Notes

Reference 2508 was first issued in a 37 mm case with olive-shaped pushers (see lot 86), it was then revised with a 36 mm case with square pushers.
