Fine and extremely rare, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, center-seconds, self-winding, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Rolex Jubilee bracelet.

M. Cal. 10 1/2''', copper-colored, 25 jewels, straight lever escapement, Superbalance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 12,5 mm. Notes

It is very rare to find mixed star and dart indexes in this reference, especially on a black dial. The ?Super-Oyster? winding crown was an attempt by Rolex to create a waterproof winding crown which did not need to be screwed down. The system itself worked, however, in time the rubber seal perished and this crown type was phased out after only a few years of production.
