Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, so-called "Paul Newman", produced from 1961 to 1988, the first model with screwed buttons in 1976 and the first "Paul Newman" in 1970, Ref. 6239, with steel bezel. Very fine tonneau shaped, waterproof, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, register and tachometer.
C. polished, satined, screwed back and crown. tachometer graduation on the bezel to 300 units per hour. D. bicolour white and black with radiumed indexes + auxiliary dials for the seconds, the 12 hours and 30 minutes registers. "Bâton" radiumed hands. M. 13"' rhodiumed, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, antishock system, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Diam. 36 mm.
