Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Metropolitan" Officially Certified Chronometer, Ref. 6556, 1960's. Rare tonneau shaped, independant centre second, self-winding, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch.

C. polished, satined, screwed back and crown, waterproof. D. satined silver with applied gold indexes. "Alpha" gold hands. M.101/2"' rhodiumed, 26 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, antishock system, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Diam. 35 mm.
