Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, so-called "Paul Newman", Ref. 6239, with black bezel, produced from 1961 to 1988, the first model with screwed buttons in 1976 and the first "Paul Newman" in 1970. Very fine and rare, 14ct gold gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tachometer, with 14 ct gold Oyster bracelet.
C. massive, polished, satined, screwed back and crown, waterproof, tachometer graduation on the bezel D. bicolour beige and black with radiumed indexes + auxiliary dials for the seconds, the 12 hours and 30 minutes registers. "Bâton" radiumed gold hands. M. 13"' rhodiumed, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 3 positions, antishock system, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Diam. 37 mm.
