Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, "Date Just", Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, Ref. 6609, 1950's. Very fine and unusual, tonneau shaped, center second, self-winding, 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch, with date.

C. massive, polished, satined, screwed back and crown, waterproof, reeded bezel graduated in 60. D. mat silver, with applied gold indexes, aperture for the date. "Bâton" gold hands. M. 12 1/2" rhodiumed, 25 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperatures, antishock system, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring . Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Diam. 35 mm.
