Notes

This watch bears two reference numbers: 18000,which is the base reference number, and 18039B, which corresponds to the exact characteristics of this watch within the series. ?Tridor? is Rolex?s trademark for their system of molecularly bonding three colors of gold in stripes for use in bracelets. Reference 18039B was only produced for three years, from 1985-1988. These watches were characterised by two-tone gold cases and the ?Tridor? bracelet. A similar watch is illustrated in ?Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches?, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, 2001 Edition, p. 272.
