?So-Called Pre-Daytona" Rolex, ?Oyster Chronograph, Antimagnetic?, Ref. 6238. Made in the early 1960s. Very fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer, telemeter and a stainless steel Rolex Jubilee bracelet.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, polished inclined bezel. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold dart indexes and luminous dots, subsidiary guilloché dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Luminous yellow gold "alpha" hands. M. Cal. 72 A, rhodiumplated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm.
