"The Cuckoo Clock Lapel Watch" Rolex, "Precision," Geneva. Made circa 1950. Fine and unusual, 18K gold and diamond brooch in the shape of a cuckoo clock fitted with a keyless watch.

C. Two-body, front realistically modeled as a cuckoo clock, base set with a row of diamonds, two gold tassels at the bottom simulating winding weights, pin with clasp at the back. D. Matte silver, dart and dot indexes, Rolex crown at 12. Gold "feuille" hands. M. 15 x 11 mm (6 3/4 x 5'''), rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straightline lever escapement, patented "Stella super-balance" with self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 42 x 27 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
