Ref. 1601, Pink Gold "Datejust" Special Dial. Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Datejust, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified", Ref. 1601, case No. 714310. Made circa 1960. Fine and extremely rare, early, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold chronometer wristwatch with special dial, date and an 18K pink gold Rolex tile-link bracelet with deployant clasp with date stamp for 1957.

C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, faceted bezel, crystal with Cyclops lens. D. Matte gilt with line-engraved diaper pattern, applied faceted pink gold baton indexes and luminous dots, outer inclined reserve with minute/seconds divisions, aperture for the date. Luminous yellow gold "alpha" hands. M. Cal. 1560, rhodiumplated, "oeil-de-perdrix" decoration, 26 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 12 mm. Approx. overall length 180 mm.
