Ref. 6609, Pink Gold Thunderbird Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Datejust, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified", case No. 157538, Ref. 6609. Made in 1956. Very fine and rare, center seconds, selfwinding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with date and an 18K pink gold expanding riveted Rolex bracelet with deployant clasp.

Black with applied pink gold faceted indexes, outer minute/ seconds divisions, aperture for the date. Luminous pink gold Alpha hands. M. Cal. 1065, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions and temperature, shock absorber, blued steel Breguet balance spring.
