Rolex, "Oyster, Certified Chronometer", case No. 22169. Made in the late 1920s. Fine and rare, octagonal, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch.
C. Three-body, polished, reeded bezel, screwed-down case back, wire lugs. D. Matte silver with luminous Arabic numerals and baton indexes, subsidiary dial for the seconds, outer minute track. Blued luminous baton hands. M. Cal. 9 3/4???, "Extra Prima", rhodiumplated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, bimetallic balance, timed to 6 position and for all climates, blued steel Breguet balancespring, micrometric regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 32 x 33 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
