Stainless Steel Ref. 6239 Gray Daytona Rolex, "Cosmograph, Daytona", case No. 1781952, Ref. 6239. Made in 1968, sold on October 4th, 1970. Very fine, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer, steel bezel graduated to 300 units per hour and a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet. Accompanied by a Rolex box and certificate.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, tachometer graduation on the bezel to 300 units per hour. D. Bicolor matte black and silver with applied steel baton indexes and luminous dots, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer 1/5 seconds/minute track. Luminous steel baton hands. M. Cal. 722-1, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 3 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 37 mm. Thickness 14 mm. Approx. overall length 190 mm.
