Notes

GMT Master, Ref. 1675 GMT - MASTER with a transparent caseback An interesting request by Professor Hugh G. Wales, a market research professor from University of South Africa, has allowed the creation of this possibly unique GMT. The letter from Rolex S.A. dated March 7, 1962 confirms the acceptance of his request to have the steel caseback exchanged to a more delicate and intriguing transparent caseback. This has allowed him to conveniently study the movement of the watch; perfect for his inquisitive mind.
