Notes

The 1019 Reference was, when launched, a largely unpopular model. Its oversized case combined with its anti-radiation case baffled the everyday customer. For that reason many Milgauss's remained unsold at retailers and were sold years later much after their original delivery. This particular example was originally well used and upon returning to Rolex for service in 1998, it was discovered that some new old stock cases were still available. His case was upgraded to a brand new one and and was given the new serial number of the time, an A serial. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a Milgauss with a brand new case and effectively a 1998 model.
