Notes

The second version of the ref. 1665 was produced from 1967 to 1970. The double red writing is usually printed directly on the dial and is generally a very vibrant deep red color. The first red line reads 'SEA DWELLER' and underneath it, printed in a smaller font size, 'SUBMARINER 2000'. The coronet spikes on the second version are generally distorted or smudged and the oval at the base of the cornet is extremely small and nearly blending with the coronet base.
