Notes

The third version of the ref. 1665 was produced from 1970 to 1973. The double red writing is usually printed directly on the dial and is generally darker than the second version and printed with a more muted red color. The first red line reads 'SEA DWELLER' and underneath it, printed in a smaller font size, 'SUBMARINER 2000'. The coronet in the third version is distinguished with the tips of the crown clearly defined and the oval at the base of the coronet aptly spaced. Similar to the application of the red paint in the double red printing, the application of the white paint is thinner than in the previous versions.
