Yellow Gold Single Button Chronograph Rolex, Genève, Chronograph Precision, Ref. 3068. Made circa 1950. Very fine and extremely rare, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with co-axial button chronograph, register and tachometer.
C. Two-body, ?bassine,? polished, gilt metal screwed-down cuvette. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold baton indexes, outer minute and 1/5th second divisions with Arabic five minute/ second markers, outermost blue tachometer scale, subsidiary dials for the seconds at 6 and the 30-minute register at 12. Yellow gold baton hands. M. 17???, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 48 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
