Notes

The Peruvian Air Force was reorganized under the presidency of Manuel Odria and was renamed in 1950 the Fuerza Aerea del Peru (sometimes abbreviated as FAP). Having already started ordering chronographs from Rolex (among other models) starting from reference 6238, the FAP decided to order from Rolex some chronographs for their superior officers and chose the current model of the time, Reference 6263.
