Rolex Vacuum Tank, Ref. 124 Made in the 1950s. An extremely rare early apparatus for checking the water-resistance of ?Oyster? watches, Ref. 124.
The chamber is filled with distilled water. The lever creates a vacuum, thus drawing air from the inside of the watch. Escaping air bubbles indicate the exact location of the potential leak. Dim. 19 x 36 cm. In good overall condition, may be in need of service
