Notes

The so called "Black Out" Explorer was produced in 1991 for a period of only six months with the 3-6-9 numbers painted in black enamel. This configuration was found only in the first generation early serials and is perhaps the rarest of all sapphire Rolex sport watches. Today this rare version is highly sought after by Rolex collectors.
