Notes

Ref. 3055. This reference was first produced in the 1930's with olive-shaped pushers, and was re-edited in the 1950's with an updated dial and square pushers. In the 1930's, this watch with a movement of 10 1/2''', was the smallest chronograph ever produced worldwide. Produced in 20 examples in pink gold and 200 examples in yellow gold in the 1930's, it was considered at the time to be the smallest chronograph in the world. Very few examples were made in stainless steel. Similar watches are published in "Collecting Rolex Wristwatches", by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido Mondani Editore Genova, 2001, pp. 395, 396, 397, 481.
