Yellow Gold Ref. 3372 Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, Officially Certified Chronometer, Ref. 3372. Made in the early 1940s. Very fine, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, tonneaushaped, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Rolex Oyster expansion bracelet.

Matte silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals and dart indexes, concentric 1/5th seconds track with 5-minute/second Arabic markers. Yellow gold feuille hands. M. Cal. 9 3/4''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness 12 mm.

This watch was always sold accompanied by a "Bulletin de Marche". The stainless steel models are slightly different from the steel/gold and gold ones. In 1940, the cost of the centerseconds model was higher than the those with small seconds.
