Ref. 2940, ?Army Dial? Rolex, ?Oyster Perpetual, Chronometre?, case No. 182055, Ref. 2490. Made circa 1940. Fine and rare, early, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, water-resistant, self-winding, stainless steel wristwatch with Army dial and ?Oyster Patent? crown.

C. Two-body, polished and brushed, inclined stepped bezel, concave lugs, screwed-down case back and crown. D. Black with painted luminous Arabic, Roman numerals and baton indexes, outer minute track. Luminous steel skeleton hands. M. 10???, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted three positions, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness 13.5 mm.
