Notes

Ref. 4645 is an extremely rare and unusual reference for Rolex. Characterized by its square case, its desirability is further enhanced due to the fact that it has caliber 620, a self-winding movement. This particular example has remained in close to new/old stock condition, exhibiting its original factory finish to the case, never having been polished. All hallmarks remain as crisp as the day the watch left the factory. Its rare riveted expandable bracelet has remained just as new and is dated 2.51. Its case back and movement are impeccable showing no scratches to the screws or watchmaker?s numbers, probably indicating that it has to this day never been serviced.
To our knowledge there have been approximately 10 examples of this reference to appear at auction over the last 10 years; this is the first example in 14K gold ever to be offered.
