Steel Ref. 1530 Oyster Perpetual Date Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, Date, Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified, Ref. 1530. Made in the 1970's, sold in June 1993. Fine and very rare, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with date and an integral stainless steel Rolex link bracelet. Accompanied by the original fitted box, warranty (now void) and hang tag.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, sapphire crystal with cyclops lens. D. Satine silver with applied steel baton indexes and luminous dots, outer minute/seconds divisions. Luminous steel baton hands. M. Cal. 1570, rhodiumplated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 26 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, hack mechanism.
