Bubble-Back Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Chronometre", Ref. 2940. Made in the 1940's. Fine, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, water resistant, stainless steel wristwatch.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, half-hooded lugs, screwed-down domed case back and Oyster crown, polished inclined bezel. D. Two-tone pink with luminous alternate baton indexes and Arabic numerals, outer minute track with 5 minute numerals. Luminous blued baton hands. M. Cal. 9 3/4???, rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Super-balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness 13 mm.
