Ref. 1490, ?1/4 Century Club? Rolex, "Prince Brancard", Eaton "1/4 Century Club", case No. 284786, Ref. 1490. Made circa 1945 for the 25th anniversary of the Quarter Century Club. Very fine and rare, flared, rectangular, curved, 14K yellow gold wristwatch with a gold plated Rolex buckle.

C. Two-body, solid, polished, snap-on case back engraved with "Presented to Walter Earnshaw to mark a quarter century of continuous service with T. Eaton Knitting C., Ltd, and T. Eaton C., Ltd 1920 - 1945", flared sides, curved lugs. D. Two-tone silver with the champlevé letters "1/4 Century Club" instead of numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, inner minute track. Blued steel hands. M. 7 1/2???, rhodium-plated, "Prima", 17 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bi-metallic balance, selfcompensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 24 x 42 mm. Thickness 8 mm.
