Ref. 4767 Pink Gold ?Jean-Claude Killy? Rolex, ?Oyster Chronographe, Anti-magnetique?, case No 584468, Ref. 4767. Made in 1947. Very fine and extremely rare, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and triple date and 18K pink gold Rolex buckle. Accompanied by the original fitted box and hang tag.

C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed case back and crown, inclined bezel. D. Three-tone pink and silver with applied pink gold dot indexes and Roman 12, outer minute/seconds divisions with fifth seconds and Arabic five minute/seconds, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer black painted graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week and the months. Pink gold baton hands. M. 13''', rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shockabsorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 14 mm.

Reference 4767 was the first Oyster chronograph with triple date and chronograph. This reference was produced in yellow and pink gold as well as stainless steel. Evolution of Ref. 4767 - 6036 - 6236. - Antimagnetic chronograph with triple date - Produced in few examples from the mid 1940s to the early 1960s in 18K yellow or pink gold and very few in stainless steel, with various dial designs and hand shapes and with four different references: - In the mid 1940s: Ref. 4767 - From 1948 to 1951: Ref. 5036 - From 1951 to 1955: Ref. 6036 Called by collectors the "Killy watch" (world ski champion in the 1960s), this reference was produced in 170 examples in yellow gold, 144 examples in pink gold and very few in stainless steel from 1958 to 1962.
