Notes

Marcello Comezzi is a well known watchmaker in Rome, Italy. On demand, he modified a Rolex DateJust Ref. 16234, adding the moon phases and a hand-made bezel with blue enamel; the dial is made up of two original Rolex dials superimposed. The caliber 3135 was modified by adding a plate on the dial side, milled with a numeric control machine to a thickness of 0.5 mm. To this are added the necessary spaces to house the moon phases, levers, springs and gears. The phase disk is enameled and diamond-polished. Even the case band was modified to accommodate the corrector for adjusting the moon phases. The case remains water-resistant to 5 atmospheres.
