Rolex "Oyster Chronographe, Anti Magnetic", Ref. 6036, so-called "Jean-Claude Killy", 1950's.Very fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and triple date. Accompanied by a stainless steel Rolex buckle.

D. matte silver with applied gold faceted dart indexes and Arabic numerals, "guilloché" auxiliary dials for the seconds, the 12 hours and 30 minutes registers, outer blue painted graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week and the months. "Alpha" polished steel hands. M. 13''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 36 mm.

Chronograph antimagnetic with triple date.Produced in few examples from the mid 40's to the early 60's in 18K yellow or pink gold and very few in stainless steel, with different dial design and hands shapes and with 4 different references: - in the mid 40's : Ref. 4767 - from 1948 to 1951: Ref. 5036 - from 1951 to 1955 : Ref 6036, called by collectors the "Killy watch" (World ski champion in the 60's). This reference was produced in 170 examples in yellow gold, 144 examples in pink gold and very few in stainless steel. - from 1958 to 1962 : Ref. 6236.Similar watches are published in "Rolex, Collecting Wristwatches", by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido Mondani Editore, Genova, 1998 Edition, pp. 369, 370, 371,372 and 380.
