Notes

According to our research, a very small number of 6085's were ordered to celebrate the 1954 FIFA soccer tournament in Switzerland. The dials were most likely commissioned and designed shortly after the initial purchase. To the best of our knowledge, this watch was given to the tournament's Golden Shoe winner, Sandor Kocsis of Hungary (who scored 11 goals during the world cup) whose team was unbeaten until the final game. Germany beat them in the game which became known as "the miracle in Berne". This watch is illustrated in James Dowling, "The Best of Time", p. 201.
