Made in 1994, issued to Mr. Roger Penske by Rolex, New York on March 21st, 1995. Fine, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel and 18K yellow gold chronometer wristwatch with date and a stainless steel and 18K yellow gold Fliplock Oyster bracelet. Accompanied by a Warranty Certificate (now void), invoice and booklets.

Cal. 3135, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 31 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, Microstella regulating screws, hack mechanism. Roger Penske is the founder and chairman of Penske Corporation, an international company that encompasses automotive retail, truck leasing, transportation supply and manufacturing, and Penske Racing - a high-performance racing team. Born in Ohio in 1937, Penske bought and restored cars as a teenager and this passion later led him to a career as a winning race car driver in the late 1950?s. In 1961, Sports Illustrated named Roger Penske the Sports Car Club of America?s Driver of the Year. After retiring from racing in 1965, Penske created one of the most successful motorsports teams competing in the IndyCar Series and NASCAR today. With 153 race wins, 12 National Championships and 197 pole positions, Penske Racing, Inc. is the most successful Indy car racing team in history. In addition, Penske Racing teams have won the Indianapolis 500-mile race 15 times, including consecutive wins in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and the most recent win in 2009 with driver Helio Castroneves. This Rolex Submariner Ref. 16613 was sold to Roger Penske on March 21, 1995.
