Rolex Oyster Perpetual "DateJust" ?Thunderbird?, Officially Certified Chronometer, Ref. 6309. Production of this reference started in the 1950's. Fine tonneau-shaped, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with date and a yellow gold-plated Rolex buckle.
C. three-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed down case back and crown, reeded revolving bezel embossed with Arabic numerals in relief for 60-minute graduation, crystal with "Cyclops" lens. D. matte silver with applied gold triangular fluted indexes, aperture for the date. "Dauphine" radium-coated gold hands. M. 10 1/2''' rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, lever escapement, Superbalance balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm.
