ROLEX REF. 3131 BUBBLE BACK, YELLOW GOLD Rolex, Oyster Perpetual Chronometer, Ref. 3131. Made circa 1945. Fine, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 14K yellow gold wristwatch with a gold-plated Rolex buckle.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, polished inclined bezel, screw down case back and crown. D. Satine silver with applied yellow gold baton indexes, outer minute divisions. Yellow gold alpha hands. M. Cal. 9 3/4???, rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness 13 mm.
