Notes

Introduced in 1953 as a successor to reference 6098, the present example is an early example of this reference. Kept in remarkable condition, this early explorer is sure to please the collectors as it features the following desireable features: a beautifully aged white honeycomb dial, the rare combination of the word Explorer and the depth in red, a beautiful conserved case with the characteristic 18 number stamped on the lug and inside the caseback, as found on some early Submariners as well.
