White with embossed yellow dart and triangular indexes, luminous dots, outer 1/5th seconds track. Luminous yellow gold alpha hands. M. Cal. 775, rhodium-plated, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 36 mm. THICKNESS 14 mm. Introduced in the early 1950s, reference 6098 is the first watch that is part of the Explorer family and was the only Explorer made with a white dial. Additionally, the dial of the 6098 was the only model made that did not feature Arabic numerals at the quarters until the introduction of the Explorer II.
