Notes

This watch is an early example of an ?Oyster Perpetual?, the case bears no reference number and the movement is engraved with instructions informing watchmakers how to correctly disassemble the movement. Another example of the so-called ?Didactic? was sold by Antiquorum, Geneva, May 14th, 2006, lot 229 for 33,000 Swiss Francs.
