FAVAG FOR ROLEX MASTER CLOCK Favag, Neuchatel, No. 647.080, model 17.3043.015. Made for Rolex, circa 1970. Fine large mottled green-painted 220 volt / 0.12/0.06 Amp. Electric master wall clock. Accompanied by an overhaul invoice from Ecorep dated November 2014.

Two-body, rectangular, mottled green painted, circular dial aperture, applied gilt metal Rolex signature and crown logo, the back with 12 screwed terminals for the connections. Silver, baton indexes, outer minute track. Black painted baton hands. Nickel, 3-wheel train, dead-beat escapement, driven from the electric mechanism housed in the case, the front plate with buttons for setting the master time, stop REM switch, 3 fuses for 25A/15A/025A.

Dial signed Favag, casing signed Rolex. DIM. 31 x 24.5 x 10 cm. Rarely found and usual used internally, these Rolex master clocks were often made by companies like Favag and Patek Philippe and used to drive multiple other clocks around the factory. Recently completely overhauled a rare Rolex unusual object. To be sold without reserve
