Notes

Ref. 3055 Produced in 20 examples in pink gold and 200 examples in yellow gold in the 1930's, it was considered at the time to be the smallest chronograph in the world. Reference 3055 was initially produced with olive-shaped pushers and was then re-edited in the 1950's with an updated dial and square pushers. Very few examples were made in stainless steel. Similar watches are published in "Collezionare Orologi da Polso Rolex", 1998 Edition, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido Mondani Editore, Genova, pp. 299, 300, 301 and 375.
